SKILLS U.S.A. Leadership 2026.
We had 14 students from throughout our Build and Design Academy compete in 6 different categories today. I am proud of the group and how they worked together, stepped up when needed, and presented themselves professionally throughout this experience. We have 6 students progressing to the State level competitions. Congratulations to every one of them!

Jeffersontown H.S. Welding SKILLS U.S.A.
The guys competed in the Regional Competition yesterday and I couldn't be more proud of them.
These competitions show what kind of character they have over anything else. They work together respectfully, help others when needed, share tools, keep a positive attitude, and are appreciative of the experience. I've learned that Welding is actually a side note to what SKILLS is all about.
Thanks to JCTC Welding for supporting us and hosting the event for the third year. And, Congrats to the PRP students for their level of competition and keeping us on our toes. We had fun.

Sharp dressed Welders! Its good to be prepared.

A few JTown Welders attended the K4C event in Shelbyville today. This was a fantastic experience for young students seeking a high paying career. New experiences for all of them that hopefully sparked some new interest in helping build America. We had a great time!
