We are so lucky to have adults who are willing to get in there, play hard, laugh loud, and make memories with our students. Way to go, Mr. Prather! You’re the kind of grown-up kids remember! 🥰

There is something so special about starting the school day with purpose. 💙🌅

This morning, Ms. Chacon took her students outside for Purposeful People instruction—starting the day with the sunrise, smiles, and a read-aloud. 📖☀️ As they listened, students answered reflective questions and shared their thoughts.

Before heading back inside, Ms. Chacon took time to ask each student an individual reflective question and truly talk with each one. ❤️

These moments matter. They build relationships, encourage reflection, and remind our students that they are seen, heard, and valued.

What a beautiful way to begin the day—reading, reflecting, connecting, and growing together. 🐾✨

We loved starting our morning with Mrs. Graves’ class! 💙🧡 Our friends shared a sweet poem with us and reminded us how special it is to learn and grow together. 🥰

Our teachers work SO hard for our students every single day—and the learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. 📚✨

After a full day of loving, teaching, encouraging, and supporting our Cougars, they stay after school for professional development, continuing to learn and grow so they can be even better for our kids.

This is dedication. This is commitment. This is LOVE for our students. 🧡

We are so lucky to have teachers who give their very best, even after the last bell rings. Thank you for always choosing to grow, learn, and show up for our kids. Cochrane teachers, you are amazing! 🐾💙🧡

Our Buddy Bench is a little reminder that no one should ever have to feel alone. If you see someone sitting on the bench, be the friend who walks over, says hello, and invites them to play. 🛝🫶

First Day 🧡💙

Today our halls were filled with smiles, excitement, a few happy nerves, and the energy that only the first day of school can bring.

From our bus drivers and staff welcoming students, to classrooms buzzing with learning, today was a wonderful reminder of what makes Cochrane so special. We were even grateful to have some familiar faces return as former teachers stopped by to lend a helping hand—proof that once you’re part of the Cochrane family, you’ll always have a place here.

As we begin this school year, we proudly embrace our theme: Honoring Our Legacy, Building Our Future. We celebrate the traditions, relationships, and people who have shaped Cochrane while looking ahead to all the memories, growth, and accomplishments still to come.
