We have some fun things planned!

Congratulations to our JTCS Livestock Show Team members, Blakely Johnston and Case Boone, on a successful outing this past weekend at the Ring of Dreams! Blakely placed 7th in 2nd-4th Grade Showmanship and 1st in Commercial Gilt class. Case placed 3rd with his Market barrow and 8th with his Market gilt. They'll be in Hartwell this weekend for the Lake Hartwell Classic. Keep up the good work!!

Congratulations to JTCS Livestock Team member, Blakely Johnston! She was named 3rd Overall Novice Showman and was 3rd in her Market Hog class at the PV Southern Stars Swine Showdown in Alabama.

Our amazing students brought in a total of 147 boxes for Operation Christmas Child! This has been our largest collection to date! Students have prayed over their boxes and they have been sent on their way to a processing center to be shipped out to share God's love to countless people across the world!

Congratulations to our JTCS FFA member, Myra Jackson, on placing 8th in the Area II Quiz Contest this week.

This year we will have a float in the Jefferson Christmas Parade! We are looking for volunteers, donations and kids that would like to help and participate in the parade!

It’s Operation Christmas Child time! -Long post! Please read to the end! -

Each box will contain an informational packet. A link will be provided below for more options on what you can and can not put inside the box! This is completely optional! If you wish not to participate, we just ask that you please return the box to your child's teacher! Would you like an additional box? We have a limited number to spare but if we run out you can also use any shoebox or plastic container shaped like a shoebox.

Packing tip: The items that you buy for your shoebox do not have to stay in their original packaging! That's right! Open all your items and stuff as much as you can inside! If this isn't your first time packing a shoebox, do you have any tips to share? We would LOVE to hear them!

Boxes are due back NO LATER than Wednesday, November 15th. On Thursday all the students will gather together and pray over each box! We filled 121 boxes last year! We would love to exceed that record this year! This year we are also offering an online option for building a shoebox!

On 10/10, two of our Floral Design team members competed in the Floral Design Contest at the GA National Fair in Perry. Contestants had one hour to design and put together an arrangement to submit. Emily Anderson placed 3rd and Kalissa Swofford placed 11th! Congratulations! We are so proud of both of you!

We hosted our 2nd Annual Jackson Trail Invitational on Tuesday, October 17th! The JTCS Pep Squad cheered our runners on to a 3rd place for our MS Lions and a 4th place for our MS Lady Lions! We are so proud of our runners, cheer squad and JTCS family for making this a great meet!

Congratulations to our JTCS Livestock exhibitor, Blakely Johnston, on completion of the Fall Show Circuit. Over the past 3 weeks, Blakely has shown at the Gwinnett County Fair, Madison County Fair, and ending with the Georgia National Fair last week. She has represented our school with pride and even added a new belt buckle to her collection. Great job, Blakely!
