4th Grade Doctors are in the house!

Right before Fall Break, our 4th graders transformed their classrooms into interactive hospital settings to bring their Wit & Wisdom "Great Heart" unit to life. They spent the day applying reading, science, and math skills to tackle hands-on "medical" challenges!

Our 5th graders were able to enjoy their final Dragon Fit these past two days. Their smiles (and sweaty faces) say it all! Thank you to all of the amazing sponsors and volunteers who made this possible.

Last week, our 5th graders had the sweetest morning celebrating the people who make their lives extra special at their Gratitude Breakfast! Students invited a special guest to join them for breakfast and shared heartfelt letters expressing just how thankful they are for them.

Great things happen when strong teaching meets purposeful practice!

A recent walk through JA classrooms highlighted the thoughtful ways our teachers are helping students understand the building blocks of language. Students were thinking, talking, writing, and putting their skills to work in meaningful ways.

Congratulations to students for earning a free dress day today while teachers had to be in uniform! Word has it, they’ve also earned free popsicles!!

Next up, free pizza for the top two classes in each grade level. Keep those donations coming Dragon families!!
