Jefferson County Head Start loves getting out into the community and being part of local events! These events give us a chance to meet families, make connections, and share all the wonderful things Head Start has to offer. Not everyone in our community knows about Head Start or the support available to families, so we want to help spread the word, answer questions, and let families know that we are here to support them and their children!

🍁We’re excited to be at Family Fun Fest in Jefferson this Saturday!
We’ll be bringing our Jefferson–Dodge Breastfeeding Coalition pop‑up tent to provide a comfortable, private space for anyone who may need to breastfeed or pump during the event. 💛
Kids can stop by for our hands‑on tick education activity, where they can search for “ticks” on our demonstration cloth and learn simple ways to prevent tick bites while exploring outdoors.
We’ll also have helpful resources and education from the Jefferson County Drug Free Coalition, including medication lock boxes, Deterra bags for safe medication disposal, and disposable CPR masks.

We’re looking forward to a great day at Rotary Park and hope to see you and your family there! 🍁 Jefferson Main Street Association Inc
