Please know that breakfast is a PAID option this year. Please make sure to communicate with your student if they will be taking breakfast each morning at school or eating before school at home.

Jefferson opens the 2026 football season against Fort Atkinson in Kikkoman Stadium tonight at 7:00 pm. It is also youth football night.

BACK TO SCHOOL L‼️

📣 Mark your calendars! The new school year is just around the corner! We’re excited to welcome our students and families back and have several opportunities to get ready for the first day.

🏫 Elementary Open Houses
🗓️ Wednesday, August 26, 2026
⏰ 4:00–5:30 p.m.

Each of our three elementary schools will host an open house at their respective buildings. Families can meet teachers, bring in school supplies, and check out their child’s school before the year begins!

🏫 Middle School Open House
🗓️ Monday, August 31, 2026
⏰ 4:00–6:00 p.m.

Families will have the opportunity to:

• Learn more about the school
• Drop off locker supplies
• Walk through schedules and meet teachers and advisors
• Turn in athletics paperwork
• Learn about PTO
• Purchase a music polo
• And check a few more things off the back-to-school list!

📸 This is a 2nd picture day opportunity for students and staff from 3-7pm

August 31 is also the first day for our 6th graders, who will have a special transition day without older students in the building.

🚍 Important Transportation Information for Jefferson Families! 🚌

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we want to make sure every family understands the transportation guidelines for the School District of Jefferson.

✅ Students living outside the Jefferson city limits may qualify for free transportation.

🏡 Students living within the Jefferson city limits who need bus transportation must establish a parent transportation contract with Dousman Transport.
