Meet your 2026-2027 Jefferson City FFA Vice President, Kaelyn Rhea!

Kaelyn is a 12th grade member whose hobbies include dancing. Kaelyn’s favorite LDE is the Parliamentary Procedure LDE and her favorite FFA event is State Convention. This year, Kaelyn is most excited about our FFA Week celebration! Kaelyn has a service-learning SAE where she plans and executes different opportunities for members to visit and volunteer at Highlands Senior Living in Jefferson.

Her advice for members this year is to “Branch out and try new things! You never know what might end up becoming your new favorite event”!

Meet your 2026-2027 Jefferson City FFA Secretary, Graycen Romans!

Graycen is an 11th grade member whose hobbies include hanging out with his friends and playing sports.  Graycen’s favorite CDE is the Veterinary Science CDE, his favorite LDE is the Parliamentary Procedure LDE, and his favorite FFA event is Summer Leadership Camp. This year Graycen is most excited about attending National Convention and all of our future chapter meetings! Graycen has a turf and landscape maintenance SAE where he helps maintain the yard at home and a vegetable production SAE where he has a garden of different vegetable crops.

His advice for members this year is “If you have any questions about FFA, don’t be afraid to ask the officer team! We’re your friends and we’re here to help you get involved”!

We would like to recognize our chapter President Brock Booth and Vice President Kaelyn Rhea for being selected as Georgia FFA National Convention Delegates!

Brock and Kaelyn will represent Georgia at National FFA Convention, attend delegate business sessions, and cast votes to better the future of our organization!

Yesterday, we had our first FFA meeting of the 2026–2027 school year! The theme was “Water Wars,” so after opening ceremonies, students participated in tug-of-war, sponge tag, water balloon trivia, and a fun teamwork challenge! They also got to watch the officer team get dunked in water. Thank you to everyone who came! We can’t wait to see you at the next meeting!

Meet your 2026-2027 Jefferson City FFA Treasurer, Connor Perrin!

Connor is an 11th grade member whose hobbies include baseball, fishing, and hunting. Connor’s favorite CDE is the Veterinary Science CDE and his favorite FFA event is National Convention. This year, Connor is most excited about attending National Convention in October! Connor has an agricultural mechanics design and fabrication SAE building birdhouses and a diversified horticulture SAE where he built a raised garden bed and makeshift greenhouse to grow a variety of succulents and other plants.

His advice for members this year is to “Take advantage of every opportunity because you never know how far FFA can take you”!

The list of approved American Degree recipients was officially announced on Friday and we are proud to announce that we have three members that have earned their American FFA Degree!

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization and is earned by less than 1% of FFA members.

We are proud of Austin Glessner, Landen Trigg, and Will Stringer for earning this honor!

It's time for our Fall Mum Fundraiser! Please consider supporting our FFA members this year as our program continues to grow!

Funds from this fundraiser help us support FFA activities throughout the year such as our monthly meetings and CDE teams, help reduce the costs for students to attend trips such as State and National Convention, and support our members in many other ways!

Mums are in 10" containers and are available in 4 colors (red, yellow, lavender, and bronze) for $20. Plants will be available for pick up from the JHS greenhouse at a TBD date between September 14th and 18th. Stay tuned for exact pick up dates!

Orders are due by September 1st. Purchase on Revtrak using the link in our bio, the QR code in the image, or by hunting down your favorite FFA member!
