Yesterday, Wisconsin Literacy had the opportunity to formally present Governor Tony Evers with the national Legislative Champion Award from COABE and celebrate this important recognition.

This award honors Governor Evers’s strong and continued support for adult education and literacy in Wisconsin—from advocating for critical federal funding to expanding workforce and correctional education opportunities, and recognizing Adult Education and Family Literacy Week statewide.

We’re grateful for his leadership and commitment to ensuring adult learners have the resources they need to succeed.
