What an INCREDIBLE Middle School Cross Country season! Our runners gave it their all every single week, pushing through the miles, setting personal bests, and showing pure grit.

Congratulations to this week’s GCMS GROW Award recipients! Each week, four staff members are randomly selected to be recognized for helping make GCMS a positive, respectful, engaging, and safe place where all students and staff grow academically and socially.

Let’s show our GCMS teachers some RAM PRIDE during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 22! 🐏

We’re putting together a taco bar to feed approximately 50 of our amazing GCMS staff members, and we need our Ram Family to help make it happen!

🌮 Taco meat and toppings

The GCMS Scholastic Book Fair starts next week Monday October 19th! Your student will be able to shop before school, during their lunch period, and throughout the day with permission or with their class.
There will be two opportunities for families to shop with their student: Tuesday and Thursday night during Parent Teacher Conferences from 4-7pm the fair will be open!

Now is a great time to set up your students E-Wallet, or check out the website to see all the awesome books!

The Scholastic Book Fair’s giving program is open to businesses, organizations, alumni, and the entire community! Anyone can support students in our school who need help buying books.

🌳 Teamwork, challenges, and connections at YCamp!

Last week, GCMS 7th graders took their learning beyond the classroom during our trip to YCamp! Students had opportunities to practice communication, leadership, and teamwork—listening to others, taking turns, encouraging classmates, and working with peers beyond their usual friend groups.

The day’s challenges gave students a chance to persevere, build confidence, and see how their choices contribute to a team. These are skills we’ll continue building in the classroom and throughout our school community!

A big THANK YOU to BOOST, our middle school staff, and parents for supporting this experience. Your support helps make meaningful opportunities like this possible for our students! 💚
