Congratulations to our students of the month as well as our staff and teacher of the month!

Mrs. Hooper goes above and beyond to help her students be successful. She meets her students where they are and believes every child can learn. She has high expectations and is making sure her students are ready for kindergarten by building a strong foundation and love for learning!

Mrs. Reba is the first smiling face you see when you walk into JES. She is willing to help however and whoever she can. Her kindness is contagious and she is a wonderful coworker!

All of out students of the month have been setting a great example of how to follow school rules and procedures. They are leading by example and we are so proud of all of them!

On behalf of Jefferson Elementary, Jefferson ISD, and our families affected by the apartment fire, thank you for your outpouring of donations and support. Coming together in a time of need helps others know they are not going through this alone, and we are very grateful to each of you!

I spoke with the two ladies who work at the elementary school, and they have plenty of clothes! So, for now, please do not donate clothing. What they may benefit most from right now is gift cards for food or groceries.

Thank you again for stepping up to help others in need.
