A Summer I’ll Always Treasure

As our summer at Lake View Learning Summer Camp comes to an end, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing families. ❤️

Thank you for trusting me with your most precious little people and allowing me to be a part of their summer. It truly means more to me than I could ever put into words.

What a summer it has been! From adventures and field trips to water days, cooking, crafts, games, carnival week, laughter, silly moments, and so many memories made along the way — we packed this summer full of FUN! ☀️🎨🫧🎪

But beyond all the activities, my favorite part has been getting to know each and every one of your kiddos. Every child brought something special to our camp, watching friendships grow, seeing their confidence shine, hearing their laughter, and simply watching them be kids has been such a gift.

I am truly, truly grateful for the time I got to spend with each and every kiddo this summer. ❤️

As we close out our first summer together, I hope your children take with them not only some fun memories, but memories they’ll smile about for years to come.

Thank you for making Lake View Learning what it is. Thank you for your trust, your support, and for sharing your children with me.

I hope our paths cross again in the future

🎪✨ WOW… WHERE DO I BEGIN?! ✨🎪

We kicked off the last day of Carnival Week with a whole lot of bouncing in our HUGE bounce house! 🏰🎉

Then the carnival fun continued with:

🎯 Ring toss
🏃‍♀️ Sack races
🥄 Water balloon spoon races
💦 Water cup races
🏃‍♂️ Several different obstacle courses

The kiddos worked hard to earn tickets at each game, and once all the excitement was over, they cashed in their tickets at the prize station! 🎟️🎁

And of course… we snuck in a little math practice along the way! 😉 Counting, adding, and keeping track of tickets without them even realizing they were learning! ❤️

🎪 And what’s a carnival without carnival food?! 🎪

🌭 Corn dogs
🥨 Big soft pretzels
🍭 Cotton candy
🍿 Popcorn
🍧 Snow cones
🧁 Cupcake cones

We also finished up our tie-dye T-shirts and took some photos! 📸🌈 They came out AMAZING, and I love that each child gets to take home a little memory from our summer together. ❤️

What an incredible way to wrap up Carnival Week and our summer of fun! 🎪☀️

Shout out to Aleah for joining us this summer and making it so special! We are so grateful to have you on our team. Thank you so much! Aleah is off to start her Senior year of high achool but dont worry, shell be helping in the afternoons when she can down at Laugh N' Learn Family Child Care

🦌🌿 A Little Adventure Today! 🌿🦌

With numbers a little short today, we decided to turn it into an opportunity for an adventure! We headed out to the Maine Wildlife Park, and we had such a wonderful time. 🥰

We spent the day walking around, exploring the animals, reading fun facts, and enjoying everything the park had to offer. And of course, on the way back, we had to make a little pit stop for some ice cream to cool down at The Jefferson Scoop 🍦☀️ if you haven't tried the caramel apple pie... you need to!!

Now we're gearing up for our FINAL DAY of Carnival Week tomorrow! 🎪🎉 We have so many fun carnival activities planned, and I absolutely cannot wait to see the kiddos' faces and enjoy our last day of summer camp together. ❤️

Tomorrow is going to be one to remember! 🎟️🎈🍿 but iam going to miss my campers for sure as they head back to school

We’re saving our tasty fun for Tasty Thursday, so today was all about getting creative!

The kiddos had so much fun creating their very own tie-dye shirts. They picked their own colors, made their own designs, and got to watch their ideas come to life!

I cannot wait to see how these turn out!

A little piece of Carnival Week for each kiddo to take home, wear proudly, and hopefully keep as a fun memory of their summer! ❤️

🎪🎟️ Carnival Week Kickoff! 🎟️🎪

Yesterday we kicked off our FINAL week of summer camp with a little carnival fun! 🎉

We started our day with our daily walk, which I already know I’m going to miss so very much! 🥹❤️ There’s something so special about our little walks together.

As the kiddos arrived, they were greeted by a yard filled with games, decorations, and plenty of carnival fun! 🎪✨

⭕ Hula Hoop Toss
🥤 Yard Cup Toss
💦 And of course, we incorporated water into some of our games to help keep everyone cool during the afternoon!

The kids had a blast playing, laughing, competing, and making memories together. What a fun way to kick off our last week!

Some of last weeks fun in thr sun!

Tasty Tuesday! 🥞🍦

We started our day with some delicious homemade blueberry pancakes made completely from scratch! 😋🫐

Then, we continued the tasty fun this afternoon with an ice cream sundae social! The kiddos got creative choosing their own toppings and sauces and had so much fun creating their very own sundaes.

Of course, we had to enjoy our sweet treats out on the deck!

It was definitely a TASTY Tuesday!
