Family time 💗

My family and I decided to go hiking last week while on vacation in New Hampshire. My husband and I did a small hike a few summers ago and really enjoyed it. We were not 100% prepared lol we all had sneakers instead of hiking shoes, I had my daughters minnie backpack and my husband had a watermelon cooler backpack for drinks and snacks 😂 We we’re taking my kiddos who are 3 and 5 and honestly has no idea how it was going to go. Everyone ended up loving it and we made it all the way to the top and got to soak in the amazing view.

Moral of the story!

In life and business you won’t ever feel 100% ready. How many times have you heard someone say “we’re waiting until we’re ready to be parents” or “i’m trying to get everything perfect before I launch my business”….. I feel like it’s human nature to want to feel super prepared before jumping in to a new adventure but I don’t think that’s ever possible. Somedays I don’t think i’m 100% prepared to be a parent but here I am being a kick ass Mom to my 2 kiddos. Soooo I guess my point is to go for it! Take the hike, start the business, have a baby! Whatever you are doubting about yourself right now just know I believe in you!

Today my son asked to go to the beach so we went to the beach. He screamed about the sand burning his feet, my daughter wouldn’t stop rubbing her eyes because the salt was burning them, we all got sand stuck in places you don’t want sand BUT none of that mattered because we splashed in the water, had a push-up challenge, raced each other in to the water and played tag. At the end of the day the kids had a blast and asked if we could do it again.

Isn’t perspective funny?! Whether we’re talking about Motherhood or business it’s so easy to focus on the bad days or the negative things that happened. How awesome would it be to switch your outlook and focus on the good stuff…. Now i’m not saying pretend everything is butterflies and rainbows but it’s important not to let the few bad moments overpower the entire day.

After a busy few weeks we decided we needed a family fun day 💗 Hanging in the backyard with our flamingo sprinkler/pool combo, my husband is grilling and country music is playing 🥰 it’s days like these that remind me how lucky I am
