We are working on our counting, number-writing, and fine motor skills! They rolled their dice, made the correct number of play dough eggs for their nest, and then wrote the correct number. Then we had a little free play time with our play dough and spring cookie cutters.

With St. Patrick's Day on Friday, we of course needed to talk about rainbows and leprechauns this week! We learned all about rainbows by reading Curious George Discovers the Rainbow, and then we made our own rainbows with a flashlight and a glass of water, just like they did in the book. 🌈

We made these adorable shape leprechauns today! We talked about shapes, worked on following directions, and practiced our cutting and gluing skills. The hardest part for everyone was curling the orange rectangles for the leprechaun's beard, but they did awesome! It was a great fine motor skills exercise!
