Congratulations to Grace on her promotion to Nikyu (Purple Belt). It was definitely a tough hour and a half test, including her kata and nowhere near perfect, but she showed grit and pushed through showing how not to give up!! Well Earned Young Lady 👊🥋💕!!

This was our last comp. class with Theodore. He will be leaving tomorrow morning for Boston to start his full-time training to meet and exceed all of his Judo goals!! There will be more as he visits, but we truly enjoyed this Sunday afternoon!!

Huge congratulations to our parents along with Mandy and Erin being the ring leaders! The parents stand at our tournament raised $277 and our mini fair and sale Saturday raised $880. This does not include the silent auction items that are still being bid on. All the proceeds will go to our kids program to help them attend tournaments and clinics to provide more opportunity and growth! Great Job Everyone 👏🔥❤️

🚨 At Our School In The Front Parking Lot 🚨 Please look for us on Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm for fun and the chance to snag some great deals. Garage sale items range from a love seat to kids clothes and everything in between! Photos of our silent auction items are included here, and we'll also have a bake sale, lemonade stand, face painting, and cotton candy! All proceeds go to help support our judo kids travel to competitions! Thank you for your support!

Podium pics from the 2026 Challenge of Champions Judo Tournament in City of Jefferson, Missouri, plus a few more candid shots and little bit of a "By the Numbers". If we missed anyone, let us know and share your post!

We had athletes from 8 countries, across 20 academies that all came together for 218 matches in 54 divisions!

Joplin Judo & JiuJitsu had 20 registrations while Welcome Mat and Sioux Falls Hapkido & Judo Club LLC had 19 and 14 respectively! Thank you so much for bringing such great teams!

There were 10 registrations for Open divisions, 5 Veterans, 13 Seniors, 83 Juniors, 5 Kata teams, and 41 Grappling registrations!
We're honestly surprised by the popularity of the Grappling divisions and will be looking at how we can continue to improve our offerings for next year.

We're thankful for everyone that endured heat and
we're already preplanning for 2027. Hope to see you again! Let us know how we did and what you'd like to see improved for next year.
