The Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development moderates its social media platform online discussion sites. As a result, comments and posts that violate the Department’s guidelines may be removed without notice. Prohibited content includes:
- Obscene, rude, vulgar, profane, violent, hateful or racist language or content;
- Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discriminatio
n against protected classes;
- Threats or defamatory statements;
- Personal attacks or insults;
- Advertisements, prize contests, giveaways, or solicitations of any kind. This includes promotion or endorsement of any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency;
- Comments, photos, or videos that suggest or encourage illegal activity;
- Off-topic or repetitive posts;
- Apparent spamming, including comments with links to external online sites;
- Copyrighted or trademarked images or graphics. Imagery posted should be owned by the user;
- Personal information, including, but not limited to addresses and telephone numbers; or
- Inaccurate or misleading information
Comments and other content posted by visitors to our social media sites do not necessarily reflect the opinions or ideals of the Department, its employees or affiliates.
