The group has returned from the middle of the world. Many great memories and friends were made.

God’s love was shared through education, activities and donation of many items. A big shout out to those who donated items or kept the group in your prayers. A special shout out to church and family group who were major supporters of the 250lbs of items we took with us.

Students were stretched in new and exciting ways.

The nursing missions group is set to return home overnight. We appreciate your prayers for our journey. We've had the pleasure of Charlie's hospitality from , and he's really connected with our group - his story is truly inspiring.

It’s started with an early cold morning in Cayambe where students embarked back out to the forever flower farm. Two vehicle changes and some beautiful country scenery brought students to a rarely visited flower business run by the Santiago Partnership to help self sustain their Christian outreach services.

Students were each given a gift of a few beautiful long stem roses (often sent to the U.S. as a major export). Later, students gave their flowers to our host at our hostel back in Quito, Ecuador.

But before going back to the hostel they visited Santiago’s local Cayambe all-in-one “Type B” medical clinic where 50lbs of donate medical supplies were dropped off.

Students, who gave up their Spring Break to serve on missions were then awarded with a private taste testing at Piccari’s local chocolate bar. Yum!

NURS 417 students were graciously welcomed into this hospital in Quito, Ecuador were they were allowed to shadow nurses, experience the ICU, ER and Med/Surg Adult and Pediatric units.

Such a gracious culture.
