💜 Fentanyl Prevention & Awareness Day 💜

At Jay Elementary, we believe knowledge is power. Today, we join communities across the nation in raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and the importance of keeping children safe. By educating ourselves and having open conversations, we can help protect our students, families, and community. 💜🦁

This is Mrs. Hendricks, Assistant Principal at Jay Elementary with an important message for students riding bus 532. Bus 532 has a flat tire and is at Jay High School awaiting a replacement bus. The current wait time is approximately 30 minutes. If you would like to come and get your student off the bus, please be sure to bring your identification to Jay High School. Thank you!

Attention JES families,
The Town of Jay has reclosed the intersection of Alabama Street (Highway 89) and School Street to repair the water well. There is NO turn from Alabama Street (Highway 89) onto School Street. School Street will be closed from Highway 89 to the entrance to the JHS/JES parent pick up line. Access to the JHS Bus ramp, as well as the JES/JHS parent drop off /pick up area will be available from Spring Street. Please see the attached map to show which areas of School Street will be closed. Please be mindful that buses will still need to enter and exit JHS. Do NOT block any drives or entrances to JHS on School Street during pick up and drop off times. This closure will be in effect through Friday; August 21st. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
