Community Concepts Jay Early Learning Center Community Concepts is a leading provider of services for pregnant women and early childhood education for children from birth to age 5.

Our Early Care & Education program and Early Learning Centers are nationally recognized for high quality educational and comprehensive programming that has proven to impact your child’s ability to succeed in school. Community Concepts Early Learning programs provide Head Start services that focus on the developmental, educational, social, health and nutritional needs of young children. This includes working with you to help you get the support you need, such as access to health, dental, nutrition and special education services for your child. The Jay Early Learning Center is one of Community Concepts' 17 Early Learning Centers in Central and Western Maine, located at 149 Main Street in Jay. At Community Concept's Jay Early Learning Center, we work with pregnant women and children from birth to age 5 for no-cost Head Start services. We offer home-based Early Head Start with child/family services in your home at no cost; and preschool Head Start for children ages 3-5 Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday/Friday.
