Hērō from ancient Greek and Latin roots, SERVO — guardian, protector, preserver of the whole; SERVANT.

Our heroes are SERVANT LEADERS of the greater good.

With clarity of purpose, their contributions are IN SERVICE to the whole of humanity.

HEROES show us what it means to serve something beyond ourselves.

The world is a truly better place because of all the heroes, both past and present, and the beautiful thing is, we ALL have it within us to STEP UP and BE the hero now.

Today my FCCLA kids and classes got to get out and help our campus on our service day for FCCLA week. We braved the wind and enjoyed the weather by picking up trash around the campus. I love this part of my job and the kids may have grumbled at first but there were lots of laughs and smiles by the end ❤️🖤

Today my Lifetime Nutrition & Wellness class go the opportunity to go and tour the OSUIT Cilinaty department in Okmulgee! We had such a great time and enjoyed so yummy food that the students made and served us! This was an amazing opportunity and I wanted to thank GEARUP for getting us hooked up with this field trip!

Our chapter has been blessed this year with running the districts food pantry/backpack program. We distribute ready to eat packs for students each week and supply other food items and clothing for others in need. We are trying to restock our supply and would greatly appreciate any donation you can give. My students have been working hard each week and they created the flyer as a contest to send out. 💛🖤Bulldog Strong

This year has been a whirlwind! I’m so proud of all the kids who have stepped out of their comfort zone so much already! I have lots planned for this year ❤️🖤 we started off the year with the Chili Cookoff then attending LEAD Conference with our officers to learn new tactics about leadership. These kids are going to achieve great things this year!

Such a great week! Our Interpersonal Studies class got to teach the Middle School Life Skills class all about kitchen safety! Then our Lifetime Wellness & Nutrition kids helped them by baking the muffins & pies for their entry in the Fall Fest❤️🖤 Teamwork makes the dream work!
