SMES would like to thank Coast of Maine Organic Products, Inc. and their Growing Good program for donating soil for our school greenhouses, as well as Paris Farmers Union in Jay for taking the order and helping to get everything loaded. Our students are eager to get outside this Spring to start growing!

Thank you to the 300 friends and family who visited SMES yesterday for Special Persons Day. Our students were so proud to be able to show off the school and share a piece of their day with the people who support them the most.

We had a blast today celebrating March's Rockstar Readers and Dress like a Teacher Day! (The teachers had just as much fun not acting our age🙂)

The Spruce Mountain Elementary School Music Department is excited to present our 2026 Spring Concert on May 18! The show will be held at the Middle School in the gymnasium and will start at 6:00 PM. Please have students arrive around 5:30-5:45 to get set up and to find seating (it will likely end up being standing room only!). We can't wait to showcase our talented students and all of the hard work they have put in this year!

Spruce Mountain Elementary School readers need to make sure to spend their RAT Bucks by Saturday, April 4th, 2026. Any RAT Bucks not spent by Saturday, April 4th, 2026 will no longer be available. The prize store cannot be reopened once it is closed. All prizes will be shipped to the school.
