We support VUJ by seeking and receiving contributions from alumni, corporations, and friends to maintain, administer, and distribute that benefits our campus, staff, and students. The 140 acre campus was obtained in 1971 by COHERE, a community organization that also provided the first building on the campus. The VUJC Foundation was chartered as a 501(c)(3) corporation to raise funds to support stu

dents, facilities and programming on the Jasper Campus. Over the years the Foundation has supported developments that include the Nursing Program, the New Classroom Building, scholarships, honors programming, professional development for faculty, wildlife habitat restoration, Land Stewardship cooperation with the Dubois County SWCD and the building and supplying of equipment for the Center for Technology and Manufacturing classroom building.

Earlier this week, we had the honor of celebrating our 8th Scholastic Excellence Award cohort! We are incredibly proud of these 12 outstanding students, each of whom earned a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 or higher.

As recipients of this award, these students will receive:
🎓 Full tuition (up to 15 credit hours)
📚 A $500 book stipend each semester
💻 A complimentary laptop

Congratulations to all 12 scholars on this incredible achievement! We are excited to see all that you accomplish and wish you an amazing first year! 🌟
