More Fire Safety Week Practice!

Mrs. Anderson’s class practiced gathering at their designated meeting place in case of a fire!

Does your family have a fire safety plan? If not, today is a great day to make one! Choose a safe meeting place outside your home, make sure everyone knows where it is, and practice getting there together.

Who says phonics practice can’t be a little festive and a whole lot of fun?!

First graders in Mrs. Bryson’s classes have been working hard to identify and read words with short vowel sounds, and they're putting those skills to use with a fun fall craft!

Students practiced reading short vowel words, matched them to the correct pictures, and then added their own creative touches to their boo-tiful characters.

Hawks Begin with the End in Mind!

During October, our Hawks are practicing the habit of Beginning with the End in Mind as they work toward their goals of graduation and beyond!

These students were caught using their genius to make a plan and follow through, make corrections instead of excuses when facing problems or challenges, and think about how the choices they make today can impact their future goals.

Please join us in congratulating our Hawks who are putting this important habit into action! Way to go, Willow, Easton, Noah, Memphis, Hadlee, Liam, Lily, Avery, Olivia, Juliette, Makynlie, Lily, and Hailynn!
