With this school year coming to a close, we wanted to congratulate your families on another successful step in your students’ journeys and to offer some assistance and information.
Parents (especially homeschool parents), the AHSAA bylaws, and what some states passed as the “Tim Tebow rule”, is very limited and it will only allow for your homeschool student to participate in sports and extracurriculars for the public school for which your family’s home is zoned. Most home school, church school, and private school parents want their students to participate in sports/extracurriculars, but don’t necessarily want them back in a larger, more public setting.
In response to those concerns, we have created a quality alternative. At Remnant Academy, you can get the best of both worlds, a smaller Christian school setting with guidance from credentialed educators for a very conservative fee and the ability to participate in sports and extracurriculars with experienced and proven coaches/instructors in an organized, yet more personalized setting with private facilities. We can also work around your family’s and your student’s schedules to find the right fit for you. Education is changing and we are at the forefront in helping families do what works for them.
Remnant Academy is also a member of Association for Christian Teachers and Schools and an approved education service provider for The Choose Act.
