There have been some recent inquiries about membership in the JHS Alumni Assn. If you are interested in joining, please send your name, graduation year, address, phone # and email, along with a check for $25 (Life membership) to "JHS Alumni Assn., PO Box 2243, Jasper, Texas 75951." Our official membership has been hovering around 275 for several years now. For our organization to grow, we really need everyone to join up!! There will be a JHS Alumni Assn. meeting Tuesday, October 20th at 6pm. The meeting will be held in the JISD Technology Building (old Visador Office). We'll be making plans for this year's Homecoming Tailgate Party. Anyone interested in helping is welcomed! Contact [email protected] for more information.

Just a reminder... JHS Homecoming Game is October 7th! JHS Alumni Assn. Tailgate Party will be held in the Jr. High Cafeteria before the game. If your class is planning on meeting up there that night, just let us know an approximate number so we can plan for enough food!! Go 'Dogs!!!

Please keep Travis Summerlin, former JHS Band Director, in your prayers. He suffered a massive heart attack several days ago. Things are still a bit uncertain, so he, and his family, could certainly use our best wishes.

Just some statistics from this year's Tailgate Party: 149 alumni signed in. Of those, the earliest graduate was from 1944, the latest from 2010! The class with the most in attendance was 1955, though 1957 and 2000 were close behind. 1956, 1958, 1975, 1978, 1980 all had more than 5 classmates in attendance.
