Today’s Curriculum & Grant Management Leaders PLN brought district administrators together at Greater Jasper Consolidated Schools for a meaningful morning of learning and conversation!

From the elementary school garden and bilingual preschool to educator pathways, career development, and microelectronics, we explored programs, student opportunities, and ideas that could ignite across our region.

Time like this together helps leaders connect their vision to practical decisions, learn from one another, and strengthen relationships across our communities.

Ready for some pics? We had a fantastic day at the 2026 SIEC ML Conference: TAP the Potential! on September 24. We learned, we laughed, we listened, we lunched, and we landed some giveaways by the end of the day! Many, many thanks to those who shared their expertise, all of the SIEC staff, our attendees from over 18 different school districts, and our venue hosts at the VUJC campus. Let's get together again in 2028! Until then, don't hesitate to reach out to the SIEC for further guidance to support your multilingual learners.

There is just something special about stepping inside Starlab. 🌎🔭

We recently hosted our annual Starlab training, preparing educators to bring this immersive learning experience to students across our region.

SIEC has three portable Starlab planetariums available for member schools, with learning opportunities for all grade levels. Students can explore the night sky, constellations, the solar system, mythology, weather, geography, plate tectonics, and so much more.
