Last week, we took a group of Jasper FFA members to Shady Beach in Noel, MO to kayak and canoe the Elk River. It was a great day on the water! The Advisors tried their absolute best to get kids to put on sunscreen, BUT.... not everyone listened. Enjoy these pictures! 5 members of the Jasper FFA chose to spend a week bettering themselves in Washington, DC! This was an awesome opportunity and I am so glad that these kids made it happen. A huge thank you to our community for supporting all of the fundraisers that allow us to offer the opportunities to these kids. The WLC program that FFA offers is truly one of a kind. I encourage all FFA members to attend. This was truly an experience, watching these kids thrive in this environment.

Tonight, these FFA members went to the Area 9 FFA Officer Interviews in Carthage to serve as delegates or participate in the interviews. Thank you, Audrey, Aubrey, Weston, and Keilin for your service to the chapter! And, a big congratulations to Weston Harris for being selected to serve as the Area 9 Chaplain for the 2026-2027 school year! Great job, kids!

Finally posting our State FFA Convention results! We had a great week with 15 members from 4 teams competing. Each picture will be captioned with results. Very proud of our FFA members for their work in all of their endeavors. Although the weather tried to put a damper on the Friday night trip home, we went west and had no bad weather on the way.
