Tomorrow is the last day of schoolwide Remind! If you aren't using ParentSquare please download the app! Look back on your Remind messages and on ParentSquare to see how to add a phone number and update your notifications so you get them immediately. There's a good chance we will drop Facebook next and ONLY use ParentSquare so we need to make sure everyone has access and it's working appropriately!

Tomorrow is BLACKOUT day at MCHS Football! Wear your black Marion gear. Don't have any? No problem! Wear purple!

Announcements - September 2:
🥵 It's hottttt out there! Shoutout to our amazing car rider ladies who get out there every day, in this extreme heat, to get our JES students home safely!
💵Boosterthon Fundraiser: The winner of last night's challenge was Ms. Luttmann's First Grade Class. They will get a doughnut party before the end of the week!

Tonight's challenge is any student who is signed up or gets a donation by tonight can wear a hat and/or PJs tomorrow...........and nope, we are not checking each child. Basically tomorrow is hat and/or pj day for students and we appreciate everyone participating! 😉 Remember your child gets a prize just for signing up at mybooster.com. You don't even have to have a donation.

So far our top grades are 3rd, 1st, then Kindergarten.
Our top classes are Haggard, Rich, and Nugent!
👕Please send your child's money and order form for a class shirt by September 11! Please know we are doing this to try to get more uses out of the shirt than just Field Day.

Please remember no 🚘🛻 in the 🚌 circle during dismissal. This is for safety and it slows our buses down. The buses are hot and need to keep moving and get kids home quickly.

I listed the shirt colors incorrectly for the school shirt sale. Even though you don't have to pick a color and they are pre-determined by grades, I made a mistake and wanted to correct it.

Good afternoon! It's almost time for the Good News Club to kickoff this school year. The first day will be next Tuesday, September 8. For your child to participate in Good News Club (GNC), two things must happen:

1. You must register at the link below, EVEN if your child participated last year. They must be registered for each new school year.

2. You must send a note to your child's teacher before on on the morning of Tuesday, September 8, stating that your child will be attending Good News Club starting 9/8/26 and will continue each Tuesday unless you make a transportation change.

Parents: This is our last week of official Remind! We are working very hard to fix Last-minute issues on ParentSquare. It seems to be working correctly for most everyone.

SHIRTS - NInstead of doing one field day shirt this year, we are doing a class shirt for the whole year. We hope to have this back for fall run, field trips, field day and other school event days like Junior Achievement. Colors are predetermined by grade. These shirts are only seven dollars. We are not doing this to make money. We are only charging enough to cover the shirt and tax. Please return these order forms by September 11.
