Great things are happening in East Texas!
We were proud to recognize our P-TECH students at tonight’s Board Meeting and celebrate the opportunities they are creating for themselves and for future Eagles.
P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) provides students with the opportunity to earn college credit and industry-recognized credentials while gaining valuable knowledge and skills aligned with high-demand careers.
As the first P-TECH cohort at Woodville High School, these students are helping establish a strong foundation for the program and setting the example for the cohorts who will follow. Their commitment to learning, growth, and preparing for their futures is something our entire campus can be proud of.
A special thank you to our CTE Coordinator, Janay Wigley, and our dedicated teachers, Rachel Barth, Cory Maxwell, and Jamie Weaver, for the time, support, and guidance they are investing in these students and in building this program from the ground up. Your work is helping create opportunities that will impact our students for years to come.
Tonight, we celebrate more than a program—we celebrate a group of students who are willing to be first, lead the way, and set the Gold Standard.
We are proud of you, Eagles! 💛🦅
Soaring Toward the Gold Standard.
