As Secretary of Virginia’s Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security, Cole led Operation Free, disrupting the drug trade and seizing enough fentanyl to kill every Virginian 10 times over. His leadership on the Virginia Homeland Security Taskforce with our federal partners to target violent criminals here illegally and efforts to combat human trafficking made Virginia communities safer.
