From the little things he does every day to the ways he supports and encourages our students, it’s easy to see the impact he makes on our campus. We are so lucky to have a principal who makes our Cougars feel seen, supported, and valued!

Our Cougars took learning outside today for a poetry scavenger hunt in the courtyard! ☀️ Students have been analyzing poems for figurative language, author’s purpose, poetic structure, tone, mood, theme, and sound devices. Today, they put those skills to the test by exploring new poems and hunting for each of these elements!

We love seeing our Cougars engaged in learning, collaborating, and having fun while building their reading and analysis skills! 💙🤍

📚🐾 Cougar creativity is on full display in the library! 💙🤍

Mrs. Hill’s students got creative with Book Spine Poetry, turning book titles into unique poems by stacking books in just the right order! 📖✨ This fun, hands-on activity encourages students to explore new books, think creatively, and discover how words can come together to tell a story in unexpected ways.

A big shoutout to our amazing library for providing the perfect space for our Cougars to learn, create, and have fun with reading! We love seeing our students think outside the box and bring learning to life! 🐾💙

🏆 History meets March Madness! 🇺🇸📚

Mr. Foster’s students are putting their knowledge of the 10 Amendments to the test with an Amendment Tournament! Students are illustrating and describing each amendment, then making their way through a tournament bracket to decide which amendment they believe is the most important and why.

They’re practicing content knowledge, critical thinking, evidence-based reasoning, and argument writing all while having a little fun with history! 🗣️⚖️📖

We love seeing our Cougars learning, competing, and putting their knowledge into action! 🐾💙

💗🐾 COUGAR PRIDE WAS LOUD AND PROUD! 🐾💗

Our first pep rally of the year did NOT disappoint! Mr. Brown and Mrs. Donahue put together an amazing Pink Out Pep Rally, and our Cougars showed up with plenty of energy, school spirit, and Cougar Pride! 💙🤍

From the cheers to the excitement, it was the perfect way to celebrate our students, our teams, and what it means to be a JRMS Cougar! 🐾

A huge thank you to Mr. Brown and Mrs. Donahue for putting together such a fun and memorable pep rally! And of course, thank you to our students and staff for bringing the PRIDE! 💗

Yesterday was National Instructional Coaches Day, and we couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating our amazing instructional coach, Mrs. Bobo! 💙🐾

We love her and appreciate everything she does for Jarrell Ranch Middle School! She does SO much around campus, and she takes her job very seriously. She is constantly supporting our teachers, helping our students, and working hard to make sure our scores continue to climb. 📚📈

We are so thankful to have someone who cares so deeply about our campus and is always willing to jump in and help wherever she is needed.

Thank you, Mrs. Bobo, for all that you do for our Cougars! We appreciate you more than you know! 💙🤍🐾
