It's finally here! The cast list for Matilda the Musical, Jr is announced! With over 100 people involved in this year's summer camp, it's going to be great!

Performance is June 12 at 7 pm at JHS Performing Arts Center. Doors open at 6:30 pm! Tickets are $5!

Jarrell High School Theatre’s Design Team placed Runner Up in the UIL Theatrical Design 4A State Championship this weekend! This also marks the fourth consecutive year the team has medaled at State.

It's official- Matilda the Musical, Jr. is this year's summer camp! Camp this year is June 8-12, and our performance is Friday, June 12!

Registration is due by May 14, and if you'd like to be considered for a lead role, audition videos are also due by May 14. Email director Tara Granberry with questions!

It’s One Act Play season! We have two great opportunities this week to see top-notch theatre for free!

First:
Jarrell High School presents 2026 UIL One Act Play “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing” by Finegan Kruckemeyer. Audience members of all ages are invited to enjoy a free community performance on Sunday, March 8 at 5 pm!

Next:
The JHS Performing Arts Center is hosting the 4A District-24 UIL One Act Play Contest on Tuesday, March 10. No admission fee, and the first show starts at 10 am!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year- Fall Musical time!!! Today we performed a Shrek matinee for the 2nd grade at Jarrell Elementary, and we have our official opening night at 7 pm tonight!

Online ticket sales are closed for tonight, but you can still buy tickets at the door! Adults are $10, and students and children are $5!

We have two shows on Saturday and another one on Sunday! You don’t want to miss out!

JHS Theatre's 5th Annual Fall Musical is coming! Shrek the Musical, Jr! We're looking for our aspiring elementary age actors who would like to be participate alongside our middle school and high school actors.

Register today- or at least by the deadline of October 10! The fee is $50 per student and covers the cost of a show t-shirt, costume, and snacks at rehearsals.

Let's hear it for National Arts in Education Week!

Our high school production of Shrek the Musical, Jr. has begun auditioning for roles, with a whopping 87 students showing up to try out for lead roles! Our district-wide musical will be performed December 5-7 at the Jarrell High School Performing Arts Center.
