The budget requests are in for next year. Given the craziness that is finals time, Alianza weekly meetings will resume in the beginning of the Spring semester in January :) Lets use this space to brainstorm and share event ideas for Spring...on the table is 1) the collaborative event with The Alliance and 2) Gallery Night Fundraiser 3) Guest Speaker or Student Panel

At our 11/12/15 meeting, we discussed the following:
We decided on our date for collaborative project with UW Rock County Alliance and our on-campus women's leadership club. The date will be December 1st.

We will talk to student services regarding what exactly we can cannot do for our event within the bounds of campus policies and fire codes.

UW Rock County Alliance has agreed to purchase materials for the event.

We discussed specifics regarding what members will contribute to the event.

We are planning to film a short segment about our club and its members at our next meeting; this will be edited by our artistic director, Alex.

Today's meeting starts in twenty minutes. Today we will be discussing our plans for our upcoming event in collaboration with The Alliance and Women's Leadership Clubs.

In our meeting this week we discussed the Alianza name change to Alianza de Razas, the mission and structure of the group and upcoming events. We are planning to host a collaborative event with 2 other groups and a Gallery event in Feb. Our next meeting will be on Thursday at noon in A135.
