Ms. Mullooly’s Small Animal Care 1 classes wrapped up the big AKC dog project where students chose a group and breed of dog, did extensive research, and then created an accurate life size model of their dog! They did a mock AKC dog show and here are the results!

🟡97th National FFA Convention🔵 The Janesville-Craig FFA had a wonderful time at this years convention. It is a once in a lifetime experience and 6 of our members were able to attend! HUGE thank you to Seneca Foods for their donation, we greatly appreciate your constant support of the next generation of professionals in the agriculture industry! Here is a recap of our week and some pictures!

Day 3 of National FFA Convention trip! We visited the Louisville Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs, an antique tractor/equipment farm, and we wrapped up with a trivia night!🔵🟡

Day 2 of National Convention! 🟡🔵 We went to Opening Session, spent time at the Expo Center talking with professionals from colleges and the agriculture industry, visited the National FFA Center, and ended the night at a haunted house!

Day 1 of National FFA Convention and Craig FFA students are having a blast! We made the trip down to Indy early morning and stopped at the Albanese Candy Factory, then spent time exploring the Convention! We finished the day with Chapter dinner and had great conversations!

Ms. Mullooly’s Introduction to Agriculture class, combined with Parker’s class, had a great opportunity to learn more about various aspects of the agriculture industry on Tuesday. We visited Skelly’s Farm Market and learned about fruit, vegetable, and pumpkin production. Then we traveled to Apple Hut and students learned about apple production. Lastly, the Alpaca Pines Farm crew taught students about fiber mills and each person made yarn with alpaca fleece, and were able to interact with alpacas, sheep, and a llama! Thank you to all three of these businesses for their time and hosting us, students learned so much through hands-on experiences!
