🎉 What a GREAT first week at ARISE Virtual Academy!

And just like that, the first week of the 2026–27 school year is in the books! 💙 From first-day smiles and Live Lessons to reconnecting with friends, meeting new classmates, and settling into new routines, it has been a fantastic start for our K–12 ARISE community!

Today is also an extra-special day at ARISE as our new students complete their 5-day trial period! 🎉 We are so excited to officially welcome our newest students and families into the ARISE family! Last week was an amazing and busy week at ARISE Virtual Academy! We loved meeting our new ARISE families at orientation and welcoming back our K–8 students and families at our Open House Ice Cream Social on Thursday!

It was a wonderful week filled with new faces, familiar smiles, and lots of excitement for the year ahead. And now, tomorrow we officially kick off the 2026–27 school year! Lessons begin, and the ARISE staff can’t wait to get started!

We have huge news to celebrate as we kick off the 2026–27 school year!

At the School District of Janesville,’s district-wide welcome back event at Craig High School, Stephanie Davis was officially named one of only four Teachers of the Year across the entire district! 🏆✨

Stephanie’s dedication to the students and families at ARISE Virtual Academy shines bright every day, and we could not be prouder that she has earned this well-deserved recognition alongside so many outstanding educators from across the district.

She will be formally honored for this incredible achievement at a special district dinner event this coming October!

Each year, the Janesville Noon Rotary Club's Making the Grade Celebration recognizes outstanding students entering grades 10–12 from Craig, Parker, Milton, and Janesville, charter schools. Students who have demonstrated excellence in academic achievement, leadership, and responsibility are invited to this special evening of recognition, celebration, prizes, and scholarship opportunities.

We are proud to congratulate ARISE Virtual Academy student Ari Marklein, who was recognized at this year's celebration and was selected as one of the event's scholarship winners!

🎉✨ ARISE Virtual Academy Honor Roll Alert! ✨🎉

While we're busy getting everything ready for an amazing 2026–2027 school year, we couldn't let the excitement of a new beginning overshadow the incredible accomplishments of last year.

Today we're taking a moment to celebrate our Spring Semester Honor Roll, High Honors, and Highest Honors students!

These students demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to doing their very best throughout the second semester. Every assignment completed, challenge overcome, and goal achieved helped earn this recognition, and we're so proud of each one of them!

Congratulations to all of our honorees! Your hard work truly paid off, and we can't wait to see what you'll accomplish in the year ahead.

The countdown to a new school year is on! Online Registration for the 2026–2027 school year is now open!

If your student will be attending ARISE Virtual Academy this fall, please take a few minutes to complete your School District of Janesville, Online Registration by following the information in the School District of Janesville post below.

Completing your online registration ensures your family's contact information is up to date and allows you to complete important permissions for the upcoming school year.

New to ARISE? If you have already submitted your ARISE application, your student's school assignment in Infinite Campus will continue to show their original brick-and-mortar school until they have completed ARISE Orientation and successfully finished the 5-day trial period at the beginning of the school year. This is a normal part of the enrollment process, so there's no need to worry if ARISE isn't listed right away.

Interested in joining ARISE? Applying is the first step! Submit your application at www.ariseva.com/apply-now. Once your application has been received, an ARISE staff member will contact you to answer any questions and schedule your fall orientation.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!!!!

School starts Aug. 24, 2026, for all students enrolled in the School District of Janesville, and NOW IS THE TIME to get online registrations complete.

In order to have the most up-to-date information for the 2026-27 school year, please complete online registration as soon as possible. Online registration is not required for students entering Early Childhood or P4J. K-12 students ARE required to have an online registration completed each school year.

Online registration allows you to update student/household/contact information and allows you to give permissions for items such as field trips and directory data. Online registration DOES NOT assign your student to a specific school. Once completed for the year, the registration follows your student to all schools attended during the 26-27 school year.

The parent/guardian listed as the primary household in Infinite Campus can complete online registration by logging into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal Link.

Las clases comienzan el 24 de agosto de 2026 para todos los estudiantes inscritos en el Distrito Escolar de Janesville, y AHORA ES EL MOMENTO de completar las inscripciones en línea.

Para poder contar con la información más actualizada para el año escolar 2026-2027, por favor complete la registración en línea lo antes posible. La registración en línea no es obligatoria para los estudiantes que ingresan a Primera Infancia (Early Childhood) ni P4J. Sin embargo, SÍ se requiere completar la registración en línea cada año escolar para los estudiantes de Kínder al 12º grado.
