Thanks to community support, Kennedy Elementary, the City of Janesville's first elementary school in over 30 years, opened its doors August of 1999.

What a fantastic day for Field Day at Kennedy! Look at these smiling faces. A big thank you to Mrs. Corey and all the volunteers for their hard work with the setup and the take down of all the stations. Also, thank you to the Kennedy PTO for purchasing bomb pops for all the sweaty kids today. Go Rockets!

Don’t worry, no children were harmed by the T-Rex that visited from Hedberg Public Library this week. BUT it sure did get the kiddos excited about the summer reading program and fun events happening all summer long! And it’s all FREE!!!!

Spring has officially sprung here at Kennedy today with the annual Kindergarten Bunny Olympics. Students had a hippity-hoppity time participating in all the events.
