Congratulations to Robin Wauchop on being named NAREN (National At Risk Education Network) Teacher of the Month!
Robin earned this award due to the passion she shows in and out of the classroom. She always wants to see the best future in students and will go over and above to make sure a student has a pathway after graduation. This well-deserved recognition comes with a grant to support her students further.

Cooper Kreinz did a great job on Tuesday representing RRCS at the School Board Meeting!! He was joined by his family and some of our supportive staff.

Today, we introduce you to Jeff and Kristine Winchell, two members of the School District of Janesville family who share more than the same employer!

Along with being a paraprofessional at Rock River Charter School, Jeff is husband to Kristine, the administrative assistant to the principal at Roosevelt Elementary School!

Thank you for your family's committment to SDJ, Jeff and Kristine! We're glad your dedication runs in the family!

So proud of you Coleen!!!

A BIG congratulations to our very own Coleen Shaw for being one of the 100 teachers recognized as a 2026 Herb Kohl Education Foundation Fellow! She was selected from 1,200 applicants! Our Superintendent Mark Holzman presented her with flowers today!! We are so proud of you Coleen!! Thank you for being you!!!

So proud of one of our participants who graduated this week! 🎓 It has been amazing watching her hard work and dedication pay off. We can’t wait to see all that she continues to accomplish.
