Welcome to Banned Books Week 2021! As always, the scavenger hunt's on, and Joe McKearn has found the first piece of contraband----Tayeb Salih's novel Season of Migration to the North, banned in the author's native Sudan for a period of time starting in 1989 because its graphic sexual imagery offended the Islamic government.
