Tuesday night marked the first Janesville School Board meeting since the start of the 2026-27 school year -- meaning it was time to meet this year's student presenters from Joseph A. Craig High School and Parker High School - Janesville, WI!

This year's presenters are, from left: Chase Chamberlin of Parker, Chloe Glissendorf of Parker, Macy Mills of Parker, Nevaeh Johnson of Craig and Jake Duffy of Craig.

The school board truly appreciates these students checking in at each meeting to keep members aprised of what is going on in their respective schools!

The Parker Mountain Bike Team dominated their first race of the season, delivering an incredible performance across the board!

A huge congratulations to Isaac Williams (pictured below), who took 1st place in the Freshman Boys category!

Post race, the team headed out for some team bonding with a picnic and a swim!

🎾 HARD-FOUGHT MATCH & HUGE GROWTH! 🎾

Tuesday night, Parker Girls Tennis delivered a statement performance against Sun Prairie East, turning last season’s 0-7 loss into a razor-thin 3-4 decision. This team continues to prove their incredible growth, work ethic, and ability to go toe-to-toe with the top competition in the conference every single night.

📊 STAT LEADERS & TOP PERFORMERS
#1 Singles – Ariel Lovelace: Earned her first win of the season with a sharp, straight-set victory (6-4, 6-4)!
#2 Singles – Lilly Bohms: Showed she's a competitor, taking the first set 6-1 before battling to the very last point in a tight third-set super tiebreaker (8-10).
#3 Singles – Jade Risseeuw: Capped off a stellar singles run with a dominant win (6-4, 6-0)!
#4 Singles – Elizabeth Vallee: Locked in a decisive straight-set victory (6-0, 6-4)!

These girls face tough conference opponents every week and always ask if the next competition is 'really good.' The answer is yes—but Coach Timm always reminds them that so are we! Through their relentless work ethic and performance on the scorecard, these players prove every single night just how great they truly are.
