Today is a bittersweet day for me… it’s the last day my business will be open. I made the decision a few weeks back to listen to my body and do what’s best for my physical health. And things have moved way faster than expected. I applied for a position last Thursday and got a call the same day for an interview on Friday. Yesterday I received an offer from Parker High School as a Special Education Paraprofessional. I accepted and start there tomorrow! I am so excited about this new adventure! Over the years, I have taken 60 college credits but never completed my degree. I finally am able to use those credits towards something and it feels so good and so right!
Many of you that know me personally know that my son Ryan has Aspergers syndrome (high-functioning autism) and we were in the special education system in Dane and Rock counties for over 14 years until he graduated in 2013. I was always so grateful to the SPED teams at all of his schools for working so hard to help him get to where he is today! And now I get to be on a team to help another parent with their child’s education. That makes my heart so happy! 🩵
To all of the families that supported my business and allowed me into their homes and their personal lives, I can never tell you how grateful I am for you and can never thank you enough. It has truly been my pleasure working with you all!
To all of my family and friends, thank you for believing in me and supporting me on the good and bad days.
And to my hubby, there literally are no words I can say that could ever thank you enough for your love and support the last two years… Thank you for working on your days off to help me complete big jobs and buildouts even when you were exhausted… Thank you for always being by my side and for your encouraging words! You truly are a great man!
Now in the words of my bestie yesterday, I am going to “GO BE GREAT”! Time to start the next chapter in my story… ✏️

Ok y’all! Just had to share my latest coffee bar update… new coffee syrup labels! This was a free upgrade as I have a Dymo Labelwriter 450 thermal printer that I use for organizing jobs. These are just shipping labels turned vertically. Just peeled the labels off of my Skinny Syrups (some were much easier than others were), cleaned the bottle with Dawn dish soap, wiped down with rubbing alcohol and then printed and added the labels. I think it definitely looks much cleaner with uniform labels (last picture shows original labels)… ☕️
Do you like the minimalist look?

So I did a 4 hour mini pantry refresh for one of my cleaning clients over the weekend while they were out of town. Decided that a bin system, grab-n-go snack station and minimalist labeling would be the best solutions for this busy on-the-go family. I think it turned out amazing! Wishing my shelves were wider so I could do this in my own pantry! 🩵

Tuesday Tip: Check out your local thrift shops for organizing solutions for around your home. I found these 3 wide magazine holders for $3 each at our Goodwill here in town. This style usually sell for between $8-12 each new retail. Perfect for those magazines that I love to keep for decorating references! 🩵

Due to mental health reasons, effective immediately, I will be shifting the focus of my business to residential cleaning only at this time and will not be taking on any additional organizing jobs. I will be reaching out to those individuals that are currently quoted to complete those jobs.
I appreciate your understanding as I am working through and processing a recent and difficult diagnosis. This has been a difficult decision to make as I love what I do and love all of my clients, but one that is absolutely necessary for my mental health.

Quick and easy DIY laundry basket tower… Built this awesome piece for my son’s new house in about two hours using scrap lumber that he had in his basement. Such a great way to make use of vertical space and organize at the same time! 🧺
