Graduating Members of the CHOICE Program
The Sue Prosser Awards and Recognition Ceremony provided the CHOICE Program with an opportunity to showcase members of the School District of Janesville, WI , community organizations, employment leaders, students and staff as well honor the legacy of an incredible educator.
Graduates were recognized for their contributions to the program, provided an awards for their service and finally given the opportunity to use their voices to provide acknowledgement toward those that have supported their journeys.
Their time at the CHOICE Program will not be lost or forgotten, only continued and used as a greater building block towards improvement for future members.
As Sue would say “This is the good stuff”

We would like to personally and publicly express our deepest gratitude to the Leadership Development Academy of Rock County “Golden Six” Group for their impressive work over the past eights months
Recently the “Golden Six” a group comprised of six incredibly talented, dedicated and passionate community members concluded their collaboration with the CHOICE Program
Over the course of the project, these five star members of our community selected the CHOICE Program as a recipient of their services
Specifically, the group worked with Drywater Productions to create a promotional video that demonstrates the benefits of incorporating members of the CHOICE Program into paid employment opportunities within the community. The video will be used to promote and recruit additional support within the community for providing employment opportunities, tours, and workplace training
Additionally, the group worked to create the implementation of raised gardens beds in our backyard which will be used to provide an increased awareness of healthy living choices, promoting mindfulness and connection to environmental wellbeing
Finally, working with Velocity Multi-Sport and Cycling to teach members of the CHOICE Program how to repair, maintain and safely ride
The impact of The Golden Six will be felt for years to come and is ultimately immeasurable. The CHOICE Program is incredibly grateful for the generosity of these outstanding individuals and will consider them friends of the program forever
