PREMIERING FRIDAY!

While embarking on a journey of jurisprudence, Elle Woods tries to balance law and love in the School District of Janesville Summer School presentation of "Legally Blonde: The Musical" from July 14-23, at Parker High School, 3125 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville!

Based on the 2001 hit film starring Reese Witherspoon, this local production is directed by Colin Swanson, choreographed by Dijon Kirkland and musically directed by Matthew Knutson and Abby Goodhall. Cast includes students from the SDJ Summer School program.

Shows are planned at 7 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays, July 14-15 and 21-22, and at 1 p.m. Sundays July 16 and 23. Opening night tickets will be $8 each, while tickets for all other shows will be $10 each.

Tickets are available online at Parker-Arts.com, at the Parker Box Office on the days of shows. They also are available in Janesville at Knapton Musik Knotes, 2475 Milton Ave., and Voigt Music Center, 2152 W. Highway 14.
