When we first opened the School House, the dream was always bigger than just the classes we offered ourselves. We wanted to create a space for parent-involved preschool programs, a place where moms could work alongside their kids, and a home for teachers and providers to bring their own ideas and programs to our community.

Last August, Sierra began leading our School House programs, and over the past year we’ve had the privilege of watching her ideas and passion grow. We are so excited that she is now branching out with programs of her own at the School House!

Her vision fits so beautifully with what we hoped the School House would become from the very beginning: a space where passionate people can create meaningful opportunities for local kids and families.

And we’re still growing! We are always looking to expand the programs, classes, and resources offered at the School House. If you have something you’ve been wanting to offer our community and think the School House could be a good home for it, please reach out!

July is a little slower around the School House, but we’re already looking ahead to an exciting August! Mrs. Sierra has been working on some new classes, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming soon.

The heart of the Stent School House has always been creating a space where people can share their passions and talents with our community. If you’ve ever dreamed of teaching a class, hosting a workshop, or starting a group, we’d love to hear from you.

Our first week of our summer schedule and no longer using Sawyer for sign ups. Please reach out if you have any questions on how to sign up for classes!

This is our last week before we begin our summer schedule, and we have some changes coming to the School House.

We will be saying goodbye to our sign-up program through Sawyer, and moving forward each provider will be handling their own enrollment and registration directly. We will still be sharing all of the happenings at the School House each week and will continue providing direct contact and enrollment information for each program.

We’re excited to continue providing an eclectic community space where passionate providers, teachers, and families can come together to create meaningful programs and connection for our community.

Little Learners Preschool Graduation is coming up and we would love to celebrate with your little one! 🤍

Have a preschooler who may have only attended a couple classes or maybe hasn’t attended at all but is getting ready to transition into TK or Kindergarten this fall? Join us for this sweet community celebration made to help little learners feel special, celebrated, and excited for this big milestone.

We’ll celebrate all they’ve learned and the exciting journey ahead with a simple, heartfelt graduation at the School House. 🌼

Many of you may have seen the posts about our sweet community member, Hudson, who is currently at UCSF. Hudson and his family have been part of the School House since the very beginning and hold such a special place in all of our hearts.

One of Hudson’s very favorite classes is Little Learners, so this entire week, every Little Learners enrollment will go directly to supporting Hudson’s family during this difficult time. ❤️

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is a beautiful week to come play, learn, and love on one of our own. Please continue to keep Hudson and his family in your prayers.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there doing the beautiful, messy, exhausting, meaningful work of raising little humans. 🌷

Starting Stent School House alongside my boys has been one of the hardest and most rewarding journeys of my life. Motherhood completely shifted the way I imagined my life, my work, and the way I wanted to spend my time. In many ways, it pulled me away from the path I thought I was supposed to follow… but in that shift, something really beautiful happened.

What began as a dream for my own family slowly grew into something bigger, a place where moms can bring their children, work alongside them or while raising them, build friendships, share gifts and talents, and support one another through all the stages of parenting.

So much of motherhood can feel isolating, especially in the early years. My hope for the School House has always been to create a space where families feel safe, welcomed, and connected. A place where children can learn and grow while their parents grow too.

To every mom building something while raising babies at the same time… whether it’s a business, a career, a home, or simply a life filled with love and intention, I see you.

Thank you to this amazing community for helping bring this dream to life. We truly are building something special together. ❤️
