🏌️‍♂️ IT’S THIS WEEKEND! 🏌️‍♀️

Our 3rd Annual IBEW Local 106 Charity Golf Tournament is happening this Saturday, August 15th at South Hills Country Club, and we’re looking forward to another great day on the course!

We have a bunch of awesome prizes donated by several generous local businesses, along with food, drinks, contests, mulligans, skins, and plenty of fun throughout the day. Whether you’re coming out to golf, support the cause, or just be part of a great event, we’d love to see you there!

Most importantly, this year’s tournament is being held to benefit our brother, Jason Stoll, as he continues his fight against cancer.

Jason has been a proud member of IBEW Local 106 for 16 years and has also spent several years helping teach and mentor our third-year apprentices. He has given a lot to our Local, and now it’s our turn to give back and show him the support of his IBEW family.

Come out, have a great day golfing, enjoy some food and drinks, win some prizes, and most importantly, help us support Jason. Every bit of support makes a difference.

WE ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS!
If you’re available to help throughout the day with registration, events, food, or anything else, we could definitely use your help. Please reach out to Andrew Honey of call the Hall if you’re interested in volunteering.

Let’s come together as a Local, have a great day, and show Jason just how strong his IBEW family is.

Today we recognize two outstanding instructors who have successfully completed the National Training Institute (NTI).

Congratulations to Adam Walker, Journeyman Wireman, who has been teaching our 5th Year Apprentices for 8 years and Jason Craumer, Journeyman Wireman, who taught our 2nd Year Apprentices for three years and has spent the last three years leading our Fiber Optics program.

After four years of attending NTI, they have officially completed the program—a significant accomplishment that reflects their commitment to continuing education and providing the highest quality instruction to the next generation of IBEW 106 electricians.

Thank you both for your dedication to our apprentices and to the future of our trade. We are proud to have you on our instructional team and wish you continued success as you inspire and educate the apprentices who follow in your footsteps.

Congratulations, Adam and Jason! ⚡👏

We are excited to welcome Wyatt into our ranks!

As an electrical apprentice, Wyatt will earn a paycheck while receiving valuable on-the-job training with our signatory contractors. At the same time, he'll complete our five-year Joint Apprenticeship Training Program—earning a top-quality education completely tuition-free right here at our training center.

Congratulations, Wyatt! We look forward to watching you grow and succeed in the trade.

🎓 While many students wore college apparel for National Decision Day, Wyatt Olmstead showed up in coveralls.
This summer, the Jamestown High School senior will begin a paid apprenticeship with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), becoming one of the youngest individuals ever accepted into the local union's apprenticeship program.

A National Honor Society member, Seal of Biliteracy recipient, and student-athlete, Wyatt plans to continue his education through SUNY Jamestown Community College while building a career in the skilled trades.
