Back in 2022, the Greene County Sheriff's Office started a new program providing those working in the Corrections Division the opportunity to become Deputy Sheriff's.

We are very pleased to share that Sergeant Derek Heim, a twenty-one year veteran of the Greene County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division graduated last week from the Greene County Criminal Justice Peace Officer Basic Training program.

Derek will now go on to take his state test then be sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff.

Derek worked hard to make this happen and we are extremely proud of him!

Congratulations soon-to-be Deputy Derek Heim! 👏👏

CHANGE of PLANS!!

Due to a lot of factors, we are moving the Class Reunion on June 11, 2022 to Curt Bone’s house, 64 Highland Court, Wilmington , OH. It is just a few miles from the intersection of 68 and 71. I have a large detached garage that we can party in. Kind of like the parties that the Bone boys use to throw in the old barn. Start time is now 6:00 PM!

The Cost is FREE. I will provide some snacks, pulled pork for sandwiches, etc. If you are able to bring a snack or something to share, that would be great. If you are traveling to come here, just bring your self.

If the weather permits, I will have corn hole set up and a fire in the fire pit. I will have some tables and chairs but if you want to bring a lawn chair that would help out. BYOB and I will have a little bar table set up if you want to bring a bottle to share. I will have a cooler of water and ice to keep everyone hydrated.

If this allows your plans to change and you are now able to come, we would love to see you and catch up.

See everyone soon and get the word out to everyone!

Roll call. How is everyone doing during these strange times? Everyone taking care of yourself? Anyone have any needs that this group can meet?
