Our paraeducators are an essential part of the Roosevelt team, providing encouragement, guidance, and individualized support to students throughout the school day. Whether they're working one-on-one, in small groups, or alongside classroom teachers, they help create meaningful learning experiences and build positive relationships with our students.
Their patience, compassion, and dedication help ensure every student feels supported, valued, and empowered to succeed.

✨ Meet our Speech Pathologist, JoDell Stading! JoDell works closely with students to build communication skills and confidence, helping them find their voice and succeed both in and out of the classroom.

✨ Meet our English Learner (EL) Teacher, Lana Meissner! Lana supports our multilingual learners as they develop their English language skills while celebrating the strengths and experiences they bring to our school community.

Together, JoDell and Lana play an essential role in ensuring every Roosevelt student feels supported, included, and empowered to reach their full potential.

🎵 Music
Meet Alivia Hoke! Our music teacher inspires students to explore rhythm, melody, and creativity while building confidence through singing, movement, instruments, and musical expression.

🏃 Physical Education
Meet David Beach! Our PE teacher helps students develop healthy habits, teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical skills while making fitness fun and engaging for every learner.

📚 Library
Meet Melissa Carmack, better known as our Library Lady! She fosters a love of reading, curiosity, and lifelong learning by helping students discover great books, strengthen research skills, and explore new ideas.

💻 Cybersecurity
Meet James Nyland! Our Cybersecurity Instructor introduces students to the exciting world of technology, digital citizenship, and online safety while helping them build valuable problem-solving and cybersecurity skills for the future.
