When toddlers put on a doctor’s coat or a firefighter’s hat, they do more than play dress-up. They are learning what it means to care, help, and keep our communities connected.

Through doctor visits for stuffed animals, imaginary fire rescues, and special mail deliveries, our toddlers are making sense of the world and their place in it. Watching their curiosity and empathy grow every day is the best part each day! 💙

Welcome to October at Anchor Point! 🎃🍂

A new month of discovery begins today across our North Smithfield, East Greenwich, and Jamestown campuses! This October, our students will explore Autumn, practice the virtue of Patience, build with Squares, paint with Orange, and learn five new Sign Language words! Our schools are getting ready for special events such as our annual fire department visits, Trunk or Treating and fun activities throughout our halls.

Little hands, big discoveries!

Friends across our schools have been exploring apples this week! Toddler friends have created explosions with apple volcanos and watched them bubble up and over!

Our friends in preschool and PreK worked together to cut and mix ingredients to create their own applesauce. They later enjoyed it together as a snack!

Friends in our transitional kindergarten classroom helped to mix up some apple spice play doh. Carefully measuring each ingredient to ensure the texture was just right to squish and roll!

Trade screen time for green time! 🌿☀️ We all know getting kids outside helps burn off that extra energy, but it’s also where some of the best learning and growing happens.

When kids step outdoors, every moment turns into a new experience:

•Sensory exploration: Sunshine, fresh air, soft grass, and new sounds naturally tune up their senses—from touch and sight to balance.
•Real-world confidence: Climbing high, testing balance, and running around with friends teach kids how to assess risks, share, build resilience, and lift their moods naturally.
•Unlocking imagination: Outdoor spaces don't come with step-by-step instructions. Kids get to be curious, solve problems on their own, and let their creativity run wild.
