Emily Morgan, founder and instructor of Dynamic Piano Studio, has always had a strong love of music. She started taking formal lessons at age 10 and has not stopped playing since! Her goal as a piano teacher is that every student, while learning the mechanics of playing, will also develop a love for piano and a love for music. This passion for music motivated her to get a B.M in keyboard/vocal edu

cation from East Tennessee State University, and a M.M. While at UTK, she worked with Fay Adams in long term training to become certified to teach all the Suzuki piano literature. After graduating from UTK, Ms. Morgan taught at First Baptist School of Fine Arts and Cadek Conservatory of Music in Chattanooga, TN. She was also active in church music, and enjoyed playing for services and singing in the choir. In 2015, Ms. Morgan decided to move to NC to be closer to family and founded Dynamic Piano Studio in Wilmington, NC. Throughout her years of teaching, Ms. Morgan has developed a love for teaching students of all ages and she is passionate about exposing her students to the great composers and their works. Ms. Morgan is an active member of many professional organizations, including Music Teacher’s National Association, North Carolina Music Teacher’s Association, Cape Fear Music Teacher’s Association, and Suzuki Association of the Americas. She is intentional about reading, researching, and dialoging with other teachers about the art of teaching.
