APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED – Monday, April 15, is the extended deadline to apply to the North Dakota Waterfowl Brigade. Apply at: www.texasbrigades.org/waterfowl-brigade-nd

The Brigade is a joint effort aimed at empowering the next generation of conservation ambassadors to support a sustained natural resource legacy. This unique, five-day, experience-oriented camp for youth ages 13–17, runs from June 3-7 in Washburn, N.D. and focuses on habitat management, wetland ecology, team building, and leadership.

We had a great STEM day for our local 7th and 8th grade students yesterday. Those that helped with and brought students to our event are very much appreciated. Another STEM event coming this summer is the North Dakota Waterfowl Brigade. It's a great opportunity for students ages 13 - 17.

While the Ice Cream workshop is still ranking at the top, the Stutsman County Soil Conservation District has gained attention with their workshop teaching kids about soil and worms. It would seem that food might be the thing that gets kids' attention!
