UJ students and Collins Aerospace were at Jamestown Middle School on 1/29 telling sixth graders about a new STEM program that will be starting 2/20/2026. Students will be selected from a pool of 6th grade applicants. If the student is from Jamestown Middle School, transportation will be provided from the middle school to the SmartLab after school on 2/20. Other students from area rural schools, local private schools, and homeschool may apply, but if selected, those students would need to find transportation to be at the SmartLab from 3:30 - 5pm on 2/20. Smart Lab is back! We have updated our times to Mondays and Wednesdays except for the week of the 19th it will only be Monday. The sign up sheet is here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdE2aAL1LFGWGfEE201Lj4E7HxN1xMYUtfIW1r5MRBVdms_hw/viewform?usp=header it is just to keep track of the number of students that will attend due to limited resources of equipment, but please feel free to come even if you forgot to fill out the sheet. Happy Saturday Everyone. Monday night will be the last Smart Lab of the semester. We will have a small Christmas party with some snacks and arts and crafts. Anybody who has been at the Smart Lab this semester is Welcome. It will be from 6.30 to 7.30pm.
