As part of sustainability class, GUG II ES students have been growing all different types of seeds in recycled milk containers inside their classrooms. Once the seedlings matured, they were ready for transplanting. Students then rolled up their sleeves at King Manor's Transplanting Park Day, helping plant, water, and care for a local green space.

Through this hands-on experience, students learned what it means to be stewards of their community while making a positive impact right in their neighborhood. Thank you to King Manor Museum for being such a great partner and giving our students the opportunity to get involved. 💚 🌱
